Justine Francomme

Justine is a French PhD student at the Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra “Ardito Desio”- UNIMI (Milan). She got her BSc and MSc degrees in Earth Sciences “Magmas et Volcans” from Blaise Pascal University of Clermont-Ferrand, France, where she worked on Al in amphibole geobarometry (Cappadocian Ignimbrites, Turkey) and on the evaluation of potential geothermometers and geobarometers in context of intracontinental alkaline magmatism, applied on Puy de Sancy, France. She also worked on the role of fluorine in the melting of phlogopite-bearing mantle by an experimental and a natural study (Pello Hill, Tanzania). Her contribution to ABYSS will be focused on experimental modelling of melt-rocks interactions at mantle-crust interface in mid-ocean ridges context.
